When ordering, how do I pay?
If you are ordering on behalf of Leeds City Council the system will ask you for a valid Leeds City Council Purchase Order number, which will be automatically verified. If you have a valid Dine account number please enter it when you register. If not, you will be contacted by a member of our team to finalise your order and invoiced immediately. When calling you back, a member of our team can also accept payment by credit card if you prefer.
What is the minimum notice you need to plan and deliver my fabulous food and drinks?
Our minimum order time is five working days prior to your event. This enables us to properly plan and deliver your requirements on the day. In ‘emergencies’ please contact us by phone and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Do I need to confirm my order by phone ?
No – your order will be automatically confirmed by the on-line system. You will be able to alter your order up to 5 working days before it is delivered. After this further changes are not possible.
Can I place an order for Hospitality before I have booked and confirmed a room at my chosen venue?
No – please book the Venue before ordering Hospitality.
Can I place my order by phone ?
Our team will do everything possible to assist, but ultimately your order will need to be placed online.
Can I order a delivery of hot food or drinks for a venue other than the Leeds Town Hall, Carriageworks or Civic Hall
No – unfortunately, logistics dictate that our Dine Hospitality ‘delivery only’ service is limited to Cold Drinks and Buffets at other venues. However, we are more than happy to provide a staffed service with more extensive options through our Dine Events team. You can contact them on 0800 980 2911 and they will be able to assist with every element of your event.
Will vegetarian items on buffets be separate and labelled?
Yes –All buffets contain a good portion of items which happen to be vegetarian and these are always separate and labelled.
What do I do if one of my guests has specific dietary requirements?
Please enter the name of the person and their requirements in the relevant box when placing your order online and our team will do their utmost to accommodate their needs. Please note that for allergies, we are not able to guarantee that foods will be absolutely free of the allergen in question.
If one of my guests requires decaffeinated coffee or tea, do I need to order this specifically?
No, our team will automatically have this available for you.
What happens if we change our schedule on the day of our event and we need to change the time for our hospitality?
Either speak with a member of the reception staff and they will pass on your changed requirements to a member of the hospitality team, who will do their best to accommodate your changed times OR at The Carriageworks, call 0113 395 2161 to contact a member of our team.
Does my room automatically have Linen on the meeting tables?
No, most of the tables are very smart and do not require it, but in some cases linen may be desirable and we are more than happy to provide any type or colour for your event with fourteen days notice. Please either enter this requirement with your order or call our team on 0113 247 8932 to discuss. Please note that for events in the Victoria Hall at Leeds Town Hall, linen IS required.
